Pieces of a Dream
This collage represents my progression from card art to mixed media collage. The paper mosaic squares portray layers of fabric. My medium of choice is paper – all types, colors, and shapes of paper. The diversity of an abstract mosaic speaks to the endless possibilities of the art form. The colors are versatile, in that they can work with competing colors or stand alone depending on its proximity to a neighboring color.
